1 VS. 100

I hate to admit this, but ive been playing the beta for this on XBOX Live and its so much fun I schedule my nights around playtimes. Its just like the TV show but with 100,000 people playing all at the same time. They pick 101 of those people to represent the mob and the one, and the remainder play as the crowd until the round is over. Then they choose 101 more of those people. rinse repeat.

Game plays exactly like the TV show with the 1 going against the mob and choosing to take the prize or keep going so it gets bigger. Thing is They really give out prizes to the contestants, in the form of MS points and arcade game downloads. This is the type of thing that makes paying for online service worth it.

And Im pretty good at it, I came in the top 10 in a crowd of 100,000 people.

Congrats on your dedicated casual gaming. Your hardcore level just went down 4 notches. See? Casual gaming can be very fun. It sounds like an awesome game. However I don't think prizes being awarded is only due to the fact you pay to play. I guess Nintendo or some other company is going to have to release a game on WiiWare that awards prizes to confirm. Or the way I see it Nintendo could release a Game Channel featuring some type of game, which could change from month to month. The daily high score winner could win 500 Wii points. Maybe an overall month winner would receive 2000 free Wii points. If you win, they would send you a letter to your Wii messages, click the accept button and automatically be taken to the Wii Shop Channel and there are your awarded points. Sounds simple enough. But will Nintendo ever do something like this? I guess we will have to wait and see.

If you were to ask me Trivia is really its own genre. Not Casual not hardcore. just a test of your knowledge.

Season 2 started tonight, and they have made the game even better. A person in my group actually got chosen as the 1 and we had a blast. Really is one of the best gaems out there, and a nice perk to those who pay for Xbox LIVE.

I have played this but with me having such a hectic lifestyle and the hours being awkward I don't get to play as much as I would have liked, last time I played this was Christmas Smile
