Well I just played about 12 hours of Mortal Kombat 9 on the Ps3 and all I can say is it is outstanding. I have Street Fighter, Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and Blaze Blue and none of them are as good as Mortal kombat IMO. This game erases all the shitty MK's to come out over the last 7 years~

I'll be coming over Wed. to try it out. Sounds like a winner. Especially since I liked most of the Mortal Kombat games to come out over the last 7 years. This one should Babality me to oblivion.

I may be a bit biased as MK has always been my favorite fighting franchise, but trust me the game is outstanding.

Ah. Its always been a bit stiff for me. Then again- most fighting franchises are tough for me to play. I'm no masher of buttons but some of the combos are just too much work, lol.

Tried it and loved it. I'm a big fan of the MK games so I too am biased. I really like how devs these days are doing all they kan to kram as much kontent in fighting games. Tons of stuff to unlock from the typical kostumes and artwork, to more valuable things like fatalities and fighters. All done in dramatic gruesome form you'd expect from MK. I appreciate that they gave you the option to sit in a room and practice all the fatalities you want. New special moves added too! When your meter at the bottom fills you kan pull off some insane moves that show bones kracking and innards being ripped out. Plus you kan use a partially filled gauge to make your existing moves more powerful. Hard to pull off but adds a lot of depth for the kore gamers. It looks and feels like a masterpiece.
