| The old dog (Wii) just can't be put to sleep! Well that's what we are told.
"There are great new pieces of software launching this year such as Wii Play: Motion in June and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword later on in 2011. Plus, there are plenty more surprises in store for 2012 from us – Wii has got a great future ahead of it. We just wanted to make sure that the appeal of Wii is as broad as possible, and the new Mario Kart bundle is designed to be a great value proposition to anyone who is interested in getting a Wii. With this specific campaign, we are targeting families with young kids looking to buy their first games console. This is a very large potential audience, and the new Mario Kart bundle will be the perfect proposition for them." - Nintendo UK marketing manager Rob Lowe
All we want to see and hear about at E3 is Wii 2, but going by this comment it seems Nintendo is going to bring some new surprises for Wii. Which is a good thing. Wii Play, Skyward Sword, a new Kirby title, all great stuff we know about. But since the Wii is going to be with us the rest of the year, focus at E3 should still be on Wii. Wallets aren't going to empty themselves you know!

| Yeah right! If the Wii is that kind of broad, why the hell are they keep giving us craps from the Wii Shop Channel alot of times? And another thing! Why are they doing all of this cheap stuff to buy just to release a new one from the next year. I seriously don't get what was the point of all this. They do this almost every time whenever a new system is out while cutting prices on the old ones. That might actually bugs the hell out of me! | |

| lol. Well, we want them to keep releasing new stuff for the current console we have until the next one arrives, but Nintendo is famous for abandoning old hardware when the next one is less than a year away. After Skyward Sword arrives, that will about do it for the Wii from Nintendo. Just third party until Wii U.
Let's see. We still have Mario Party 9, Kirby Wii, Skyward Sword, Rhythm Heaven and Fortune Street that I can think of. For the rest of the year we still have about 120 games to look forward to from third party devs. Not sure how many of those are going to be worth playing.
