| Okay, so I will probably embarrass my husband with my comments of this game, but here is the non gamer perspective on this game.
My first love was Zelda Windwaker. Unfortunately I never finished the game because our house was broken into and the memory card was stolen. I started from the beginning, but then got stuck in the same spot I got stuck the first time and didn't have the patience to figure it out again, because I have a short memory and couldn't remember how I figured it out the first time.
When Antilles purchased Skyward Sword I was excited to give it a try. I love the puzzle solving of Zelda. I do not like the time wasting in town, but I love going below the skies and doing the different adventures there. My littlest son has helped encourage me to continue my quest.
I also like how easy it is to save at almost any point
And that I have been able to find helps on how to defeat bosses online.
I like a challenge, but I don't like to waist an hour trying to figure out a challenge, especially on a video game.
I will be excited to announce when it is finished though because the game kindly reminds me how many hours I have spent playing the game rather than cleaning my house, hanging with my family, or other worthwhile pursuits.

| Skyward Sword is my third favorite Zelda, for sure. Mine goes: Ocarina of Time, WindWaker, Skyward Sword. It really freshened up the series with its twists on old menu navigation and such. I would, however, like to see classic controller support for the next one, I liked the motion control in SS but... still prefer button presses.
How is Starfox 64 3d? I never took the plunge since it didnt have online multi.

| You are farther than I am in Skyward Sword, I can assure you that!
I'm puzzled..why does a thief break in your home and steal a GameCube Memory Card? I'm assuming he took the system too. Or maybe he's the storage bandit. That sucks.
From what I've witnessed with Skyward Sword I'm going to assume that I'll end up liking it more than Wind Waker. But nothing beats Ocarina of Time.

| The thief did steal the whole system. It's just that while the 'Cube was replaceable, the memory card was not. (Incidentally, I also have 4 wavebirds, but only 2 receivers as the other two were attached to the machine, so I effectively have 2 wavebirds.)
I have to say Skyward Sword is my favorite. (Sorry Ocarina!) I'm not as prone to let nostalgia decide. Ocarina stands as a monolith to game design achievement, but Skyward Sword, while perhaps not as big a jump, is by far the superior game, IMO. For one thing, the story is far deeper and more emotionally engaging. The character designs are outstanding. The gameplay, for me, was flawless. I had no trouble with the motion controls, with the one caveat being that I was annoyed by always having to re-center for aiming. The gameplay was an absolute joy, while parts of Ocarina could become tedious. There was no water-temple level of frustration, either. I still would have preferred being able to have "Hero Mode" from the start, though. I want me a HARD Zelda game, (and not from confusion about what to do next- from challenging enemies! Also, not from being blatantly unfair- I'm looking at you, Zelda II!) The music was outstanding, the changes to the formula were great without being too jarring. The levels were fantastically designed and the scenery was stunning. Even the side-quests, of which I am not normally a fan, were mostly enjoyable and rarely tedious.
Hey, put this one up as a review, Streex! I didn't think I'd write that much.

| Short review but I'll do it. How many stars? 5? Or should I even ask... | |

| That's a stupid question, indeed. I only wish I had more than 5 stars to give! | |
