Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Mass Effect 3 Masseffect3_17722_nphd

This game is truly epic...a masterpiece. The demo is around 2 hours long and gives you a great feel of what the game is like. Never played a Mass Effect game but I'm blown away. Sad to hear that BioWare really dropped the ball on the ending. It's been reported that 90% of gamers think the ending is garbage and doesn't match the choices they made during the game. There's a facebook page demanding a retake with more than 28,000 likes and causes have raised $43,000 for Child's Play so far, demanding BioWare change the ending. That must have been a truly epic fail ending. The rest of the game is probably so good gamers don't want it spoiled.

Great series. I completed three this week. I can see why they dont like the ending. For gamers that have invested so much into the story transfering characters through three games, Bioware really too the easy way out with the ending. It was fine with me.

My understanding is that BioWare has no intentions of changing anything, but if the facebook page gets enough likes and hundreds of thousands of dollars are raised for charity, they better do it. If not they'll look like real industry douche bags.

Lost was epic, too, but ending something like that seems extremely difficult.

Theyll look like d-bags for sticking with their creative decisions? Pshaw!

As for me, I thought the first game was trite! Big surprise, right? I am sick of games requiring me to shoot at things... in space. And since I really dont care about controlling the "destiny" of my character... the customization and storyline options didn't interest me much. Not the games fault, just my preference.

How can someone play this on ps3 and have the storyline be good? the first wasnt even on ps3.

Once I would have been all about the open-world stuff and branching stories. If I don't have time to see all the branches, what's the point? I suppose it's fun to compare your story with a friend's, but for me I just prefer to enjoy a well-written story. Too many options just seems like it would water down the experience to me.

It sounds like a fantastic achievement for a series, but I'm really just as content without it. Xenoblade looks very cool, but I doubt I'll play that either.

Well get your chops ready folks because the definitive version is coming to Wii U! Why do I call it definitive? Well, it's gonna look at least as good as the others AND have some additional GamePad functionality..probably.

I think the story draws me in when the aliens kill kids. We got to get 'em back! Who's gonna sit around while our kids are getting murdered by some intergalactic punks?

Well you're definitely missing something by not playing the first two, but that doesn't mean you won't like what you're getting as a newcomer. I played through the demo and felt tuned in enough. I'm sure veterans to the franchise know a lot more about the characters but it isn't a game killer not knowing.

From what I've played of both games, Skyward Sword is better.
