| This was one of the first Super Scope games to come out. This shooter is first person and you battle robots one-on-one looking for weak spots in their armor to take them down. That was probably the best part about the game. The weapons system consisted of a few different rapid fire guns and bombs, nothing too expansive. It's too bad this game gets overshadowed in all departments by its sequel, Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge. When I look at that game and then this one I wonder why Nintendo couldn't give us what Metal Combat was from the start. Better music, a deeper storyline, more difficult/interesting battles, etc. Battle Clash should only be picked up if you're like me and want to extend the life of your Super Scope, but Metal Combat is so much better. This game merely laid the groundwork for the sequel. 2/5 | |
