Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Never, mobile gaming is just a fad and will die off soon.

Probably, unless Nintendo drops their prices.

One of my old endeavors was playing the Trumpet. Did it for 7 years from 6th grade to 12th. I was always assigned the easy parts in the bands until my senior year where I was finally good enough for the 1st Trumpet and solo parts. I participated in the concert, marching, and jazz band programs. I was nervous the first time I had to pull out of rank on the field and belt out a solo part, but I got comfortable with it. I'm thankful that I was good enough to help maintain the championship streak our high school became accustomed to. We always got sweepstakes or first.

Sadly those days are long gone and I sold my Trumpet. Before I sold it I would pull it out now and then and play a bit for my daughter. Gaming, family, and many other things consume too much of my life these days. I'll probably never get back to getting another Trumpet again.

That is a sad, sad tale. Why you gotta bring that up? Makes me miss those days.
