| I can't tell you how super-excited I was by the cover. (Not.) Only a few issues left before NP dies forever and I see this? Disappointing. Ooh- and TWO retail shelf games reviewed (as in given scores) this issue. I know that A- the Wii has reached the end of its life, (though all previous Nintendo systems saw more action than this at the end of their lives,) and B- it's not game season, but that's still really really sad. The 3DS alone should have more going on that THAT! | |

| I agree Antilles. I like how there is no mention of it being the last few issues either. I knew once the mag went to FutureUSA it would turn to shit quick.
Got rid of my posters? All the cool trinkets? Gave me a Pokemon DVD with a Presidents of the USA music video on it?
EFF you NP, go die in poor taste as you are.

| I'm just horribly sad to see it go. Nintendo Power magazine has become a part of the family to me. It's arrived in my mailbox every month since 1989 and am very proud of my complete NP collection (I back-ordered issues #1-6). I feel there is going to be a huge void left for me come January, like losing an arm. I'm considering starting up a new Nintendo magazine subscription elsewhere but it won't be the same, like adding a prosthetic arm in place of the real arm.
It's going to be a bittersweet January 2013. We'll be playing a brand new Nintendo system while an old friend gets left behind. Looks like Nintendo is taking this new digital focus to the extreme.
I mean, it still had 475,000 subscribers! In an industry that has shifted to the internet for all informational needs that is an impressive base. Game Informer has way more but that is mainly because it comes with every paid membership to GameStop. Instead, Nintendo could have done something similar like for every paid online membership for the expansive online experience on Wii U (if there is one) you would get a free subscription to the magazine.

| I also HATED 95% of the interviews. Boring, boring, BORING waste of space! They took our posters and went nuts on the interviews which started out marginally interesting, (Miyamoto,) and got old fast, (almost EVERYONE else.) Then they did it to fill up space after game reviews. Yay. | |

| Jools Watsham? Really? POWER profiles? Featuring some unknown shmuck whose games I find... blah to say the least?
Then this latest issue... a wrestling game guy? You can totally tell he's a tool. If this is what NP has become... let it die I say.
