Decided to go back a few years and pulled this party game out. I was disappointed when it came out because it didn't come with boxes. The game requires you to place the Wiimote upside down on a box for the optimal tapping experience. So you have to search your house to find a few small boxes that will work. I think other regions got boxes but America only got a Tap Pad which was only sold bundled at Best Buy. I find the pad still needs to be on a box so it's pretty worthless.
The game is pretty shallow with only 5 different mini-games, but a few of them have several challenges to master. I really love the music, and the graphics for the pond visualizer game are especially impressive. Sega had an interesting idea here utilizing the Wiimote in a way where you don't even hold it, but I find whole tapping control to be spotty. Sometimes you'll accidentally tap too hard or not hard enough and not get the results you want. Then there are times where the tapping will slowly slide that Wiimote off the box and you have to hurry up and put it back on again.
It's a neat experience but the quirky controls and lack of variety keep it from being a worthy title to own. Just give it a rent.
