Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

PostSubject: GameBoy Advance Link Cable   Mon Sep 21, 2009 1:03 am

Connecting my GameCube to my GameBoy Advance for bonus content was always a treasure and I really got my money's worth out of that cable. I used it for Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda: 4 Swords Adventures, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and Pac Man Vs. I never used it for Magical Mirror since I never had the GBA version, and I don't recall using it in Wind Waker but I used it quite a lot. Animal Crossing when I was by myself, collecting bonus items and fruit off the GBA island, and Pac Man Vs. when friends would come over. Pac Man Vs. was a hidden gem packed in with Pac World 2 and Miyamoto was behind it. I tested it in multi player games for 4 Swords and Crystal Chronicles, but eventually just beat those games solo, and Sonic was just a one time test. The cost for this was paid for easily just with Pac Man Vs. 3 players controlling ghosts while one is Pac Man. The players controlling ghosts used the GBA screen and the player controlling Pac Man used the TV. Pure genious.

I still play Four Swords, Crystal Chronicles, and Pac Man Versus. All great games and a ton of fun, though I've started those first two twice and gotten a fair way through, but never gotten a group to stick together long enough to finish either. Want to move to Ohio, Streex?

I finished Four Swords and Crystal Chronicles solo after starting with others. Pac Man Vs is my fave of those. Nintendo should rerelease it on DSiWare.

Move to Ohio? If I did we'd burn through a lot of games that's for sure, but if all goes well I'm moving to California next year. You should too!

It was awesome for 4 sword adventure.   And using it for Wind Waker using NAvi to explore dungeons and find treasures you normally wouldn't find just using the gamecube alone.  Nintendo always has awesome 1st party peripherals.

Bowling Green?!!? Dude! Come to Columbus and play this with my wife and me! I still haven't finished it, yet! I refuse to do solo, and I'd prefer more than 2 players! After we beat that, we can do 4 Swords. (Heck, maybe BOTH 4 Swords!.)

When did you move to Ohio?

Yeah I used it mostly on Animal Crossing because 1. The island is pure awesomeness, 2. Getting island furniture items that was not in the Animal Crossing place, and 3. The 2 nintendo games that are Wario Woods and Baseball which not that interesting a bit. .......I would have to say my favorite island neighbor is Ankah. .......mmm..........man I love this game

@ Antilles: We live in Grand Rapids, MI now. We lived in OH 2006-2007. But from time to time we do go to BG still, Colombus is still a ways but when the band tours maybe we can swing it! Wink

I think you guys (Antilles and ZeldAnTales) need to work on getting together this year. I want to hear about a successful Ninfest Nation meeting!
