Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

I haven't paid much attention to this subject until I thought about it last night. How are all of you going to store all your digital stuff on Wii U? I know a couple people that use the smallest SD Card possible and keep buying larger ones as needed, but I think that's a waste. Why not guess what your total needed amount could be over the life of the console and buy one large SDCard or Hard Drive?

I'm kinda seeing what you guys are going to do because right now I can't decide on whether to get the largest SD Card on the market (would save space around the Wii U) or pick up a small 1TB hard drive, and have it connected out of view behind the Wii U. I want to make the decision before launch so I'll be ready as I hook everything up and transfer WiiWare, VC, etc.

I cant see using 1TB of space. Especially given Ninty's track record with Digital Distribution. I know they are going to release full retail as downloadable, but I buy my games retail so I can resell. So a decent SD card should be sufficent for me.

they go up to 128gb. But you pay a high premium on those. Cheaper to get a few 64gb.

I am guessing that the 32 given should prolly suffice as I won't be doing the retail download too much. Depends on how many good eshop only games come around for me to justify a purchase of a HD.

Too early to decide. Heck, way too early to need to decide. Why not wait until your 32 GB is almost full?

I don't want to store anything but game saves and other similar data on my Wii U because I know that day will come where I need to start storing stuff elsewhere. I'd rather have it all stored externally day one and not have it be an issue later on.

Good plan. We all should have done that with our Wiis. Store everything on the SD card- that way we can enjoy 5+ minute load times whenever we want to play something.
