Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Never, mobile gaming is just a fad and will die off soon.

Probably, unless Nintendo drops their prices.

Memory Card MemoryCard

Remember these little squares of love? Nintendo started off with the small gray ones that stored 59 blocks. For some games like Madden or Animal Crossing, 1 game would take up the entire card. Then they came out with the black Memory Cards that stored 251 blocks. Finally, as pictured, the mother of all cards, the white ones, stored 1019 blocks of gaming goodness. I have 6 gray, 2 black, and 1 white. All are filled except the white one which I still load up as I come across GameCube games I haven't played yet. Never had a problem with these losing data or data becoming corrupt, unlike those third party Memory Cards.

I've got a third party purple card that stores 2058 blocks or something like that. I've had no problems with it.

Glad to hear. I know not all of the third party memory cards go bad, but whenever a friend's card did go bad, they weren't Nintendo made. They liked that the third party cards not only stored more data but were cheaper too.

What ever happen to these people in charge of the Wii that never uses Memory Cards for the Wii games like they did for the Gamecube?

I feel like they forgot all about it now. Sad

You mean store save data for Wii games on Memory Cards? I don't think that was ever considered as an option. That was just there for the GameCube games played on the Wii.

And you can save to the SD card, of course, which is a necessity if you want more than, like, 12 channels.

I was glad when they finally gave you the option to launch freaking games from the SD card, even if it did work really clunky. It seems like that should have been the functionality from day one...
