| It's going to be real hard for Nintendo to teach the masses how awesome Wii U really is. I hope word of mouth helps it take off like Wii did. I don't understand why more devs aren't pushing to have more games out at launch for new consoles. Ubisoft is the only company that understands that new IP's have the best chance when selection is limited. It is a love/hate relationship for me because they can really crank out the crap too, but they have put out some really impressive games at the same time. I've read tons of great comments from many different developers. For every negative comment from an analyst or blogger, I've read 10 positive comments from those working on the games. Here's the latest from Randy Pitchford: - Quote :
- "This is the best controller Nintendo's ever made for making an FPS. This is the best controller Nintendo has ever given us for playing hardcore games. (The GamePad is) perfect for Aliens.
With the Wii U they (Nintendo) committed themselves to this promise. So the link is direct, fast and immediate. Things like SmartGlass and Vita, they appreciate the value of the promise so they're making the promise. But they're not in with such commitment.
Conceivably there's things you can do on all three without negative impact but because of Nintendo's commitment to it there are something's that could work there that just wouldn't work as well with SmartGlass or with the crossplay between PS3 and Vita."- Randy Pitchford | |

| I'm confused as well. I don't understand this "wait and see" attitude. Even if the system fails, it won't fail in the first couple of years. During that time, if you're on board, you'll reap the biggest profits from it, whether or not Nintendo does. | |
