Donkey Kong 64

Right now my wife and I are slowly playing through Donkey Kong 64. We only play about 2 hours every month. I am enjoying going through it again but man, I forgot how long this game is. At this rate we won't be done with it until December! Sad

I know...I have to get that game off Ebay. So many great memories. I just hope it holds up to those memories when I finally slap that title back in my N64. Laughing

In the 10 years I've had the game I've only finished it (completely, with coloured bananas, trophies, etc) once. Don't expect do much with only 2 hours a month. :S

But yes, this game is great. Long and hard (lol, long and hard... ahem...), though still completable. Razz

I've played this game before. And I beat it with all 100%. There are few hard a$$es that gives me a hard time, but I eventually pulled it off. Really this game is good, but I might digress myself. There are other better games than this one. Probably only couple of Rare games that are good, but still sucks at every cost.

I don't recall 101%. Unless you mean the one from Donkey Kong Country.

This game has the 101% also. I finished it not too long ago. Usually there is only 5 bananas for each Kong to collect in each area but there is a sixth banana for Tiny Kong to collect on DK Isle from the Banana Fairy Queen. If you find all 20 fairies she gives you the coveted 201st banana, which happens to be huge with a Rare logo on it. And it puts you at 101% if you collected all the others already.

Haha thats cool! I was playing this game again the other day and forgot how long it goes for! I never finished it, only got about 75% completed.

Yes your right! It was 101%! Well I didn't know, but yes I did get 101% and not 100%! Sorry if it was too confusing for ya!

I really don't like this game... For me, the 3d change really hurt the gameplay, the graphics were always unattractive to me. Maybe I should give it another try before DKCR...
