| Who liked this game? Ugh, I did not at all. The only reason I bought this game was for the 4 player adapter when I was younger. As it turned out though, I never played any other games with the 4 player adapter. Now that I think of it, I didn't even play this game 4 player since only one of my friends owned it as well so I got to use it for a 2 player race...which...I could have done with the standard link cable. I liked the cameos of famous Nintendo characters when you won, but that didn't help the core gameplay. Felt like a rehash of Pole Position 2 which came free with the Atari 7800. Did any of you like it or do you agree that it's one of Nintendo's worst? | |

What... dude I loved that game. I thought you did too. Remember? Right? Huh? I'm confused now. This is the first I've heard of this.

| I don't remember liking it. Did I? One thing for sure is I definitely don't like it now. I repurchased it and threw it in my GameBoy Player on the SNES and it wasn't good. Maybe I was putting up a front that I liked it back then so I wouldn't feel like I just wasted money. I'm glad you really liked it though. For me it was just a black and white version of Pole Position 2. | |

| Guys, guys....that peripheral was not for me since I couldn't find 3 others that owned the game. If I could have then I probably would have had more fun with it. But I'll agree, it wasn't a good peripheral. Not very practical. Maybe I didn't have enough friends that had GameBoys that had F-1 Race. Usually when you are younger you tend to like a lot more things than when you are older since you aren't as judgmental about things, yet I still don't think I liked F-1 Race back then. I definitely know without a doubt I bought F-1 Race for the 4-Player adapter and not the game itself. The game got old quick. We just have to agree to disagree Incognito. But you loved it so tell us, what did you like about the game | |

| That game was nailbiter, remember? It was always so hard to catch the guy in first place before you got to the finish line. And buiolding up nitro, and using it on the straightaways to pass the other racers was always fun. I don't know, I wasn't anything super-epic, but I remember enjoying myself every time I played that game. We just didn't play it too much because of all the other awesome games we had. | |

| As young gamers we didn't stick to one game too long. But that just came with the times. Games back then for the most part could be beat in a couple hours tops. It seems games today are long and easy to beat, while older games were short and difficult. Games back then would be popped in the console many times. Today, I've played games that only sat in my console once and never again. Simply because I don't want to get into another 50 hours of trying to beat it a second time. These really long games I might play through again, but it will be at least 5 years before a long game gets a second run. | |

| I don't know man, if you're talking about Game Boy games, then yeah, most could be beaten in a couple hours... but many NES games took at least twice that long, and some games were REALLY long and that's why they utilized a password to pick up where you left off. I think we played games over and over again back then even after we beat them, because... games were more fun back then! | |

http://www.consoleclassix.com/gbc/f1_race.html I noticed this website a few months ago but didn't do it being that it requires you to download a certain player. In this case I have a copy that I play on my SNES using the Super GameBoy.
