Wii HD?

Streex and I were talking about the new system that we all think is coming out soon. Streex say that it should come out next holiday season. Which will be 2010 holiday season. The predictions are that this system will be HD and that the new wiimotes will have the motion plus built in. What other contraptions do you guys think it will come with? Maybe a wireless nunchuck?

Let me entertain that thought even though I know you're not serious. What if Nintendo did add a credit card reader so you didn't have to go through the arduous task of reentering your number etc. everytime you wanted to buy points? It's safer for the consumer that Nintendo doesn't save our credit card numbers on our Wii accounts so add a slot along the back of the Wiimote to make it easier to make point purchases. Never will be done but I like the idea!

I'm not 100% we'll be seeing a new Nintendo system by next year.  Maybe some kinda add-on peripheral for the hardware, but definitely not a brand new system.

I think Nintendo would rather release an HD Wii than an add on. An add on would make the Wii too bulky. A whole new system that can play the new HD Wii games along with backward compatibility of Wii and GameCube games would be nice. I'd say it would be released at $300 and the games $60.

if they do diside on bring out a wii 1.5 i would hope they would make it HD. im happy with what the wii can do now if only devs would actually use the power the wii has. its such a shame we have not seen more games graphicly equal or even better than MP3. and of course HD does not mean that cheap made games are automaticly going to look great. HD only helps so much.

Hopefully they will also add or alow us to add a HDD to the system like sony did with the ps3. its greatto be able to put in any size or brand HDD you want.

Wii motion plus built in to the controlers i think is a no brainer. And hopefully HDMI for audio and video or at least optical for audio.
