| Made by Camelot (the dudes responsible for the Shining Force series), this GBA rpg is simply a masterpiece. I have been playing rpgs since the NES/SNES days, and this series is, by a large margin actually, the most amazing rpg I have ever played. Seriously.
Excellent character development (a little trite and ridiculous but enjoyable all the same), superb graphics, and above all else the battle system.
Dear god, the battling with Djinn is just an awesome experience. You can connect the 2 games, and bring all your Djinn along to the seqeul, making for like 72 Djinn. The commands just get crazy, your summons and magic are all over the top and executed directly and with authority!
I could rave for hours so I'll shut up, has anyone else out there had the same experience, or to the contrary?

| I think this is where you will hate me. I didn't like these games too much. I liked the connectivity from one game to the next, even though you didn't get to meet your party from the first game until much later in the second. The gameplay seemed too generic, and the story didn't pull me in like good RPG's do.
Still I'm looking forward to the upcoming Golden Sun DS.

| I don't hate based on taste alone, good sir. Although I must say I've never played a game that used the Djinn battle system... And the story was pretty epic... All rpgs are pretty cookie cutter this is no exception, but the battle system really shined for me, I played them and found EVERYTHING. Only rpg I have with multiple save files (I rarely have time/longing to revisit games). | |

| I wonder why I didn't like it as much. I should revisit it. It has been awhile. Well, I'll just go into the next one with a clear mind. | |

| Man I never had gotten to beat this yet and yet, my file is deleted no thanks to Timmon boy. I was doing great leveling them up some more and yes I had no idea what to do next so now I forgot all over and now I need to start this all over again. *sigh* | |
