| Oh yeah that's the stuff. I would have to say thank you to Nintendo for finally bringing this game to the US. You get to play 2 and a half games. First one you flick the touch screen to the rhythm to send a peg into 2 gears to complete the piece. Do well enough and move on to the singing game. Here you hold the stylus on the screen and lift it at the right moment to sing along with the others . I found it hilarious when you sang off tempo and they look at you discouraged. The final game they let you play is just a tease. You see a robot getting put together at perfect rhythm, then on that rhythm you fill the robot with fuel, making sure to fill it up perfectly. Don't let up off the touch screen too early or too late! Fun fun. My wife and I were still vocalizing the singing game the next day. Try it out everyone, I insist! | |

| Game is pretty hard...Fun like Wario Ware but difficult at the same time. They dont leave much room for error on the mini games. | |

| Due to not having access to the Nintendo Channel I can't demo Rhythm Heaven. Fortunately, I think I'll be receiving it for Easter which is just a week away so I'm pretty hyped. I've heard nothing but good comments about this game (and I'm glad to hear it's challenging, I'm a bit of a gaming masochist if you haven't caught on yet). | |

Did you get the game for Easter? If you did what are your impressions of the game?

| Sorry, college has kept me jumping recently, especially with finals starting and all. Anyways, I did receive Rhythm Heaven for Easter and it's just as quirky as I had hoped. Every game I have experience so far (I haven't unlocked all the games yet) each have their own feel despite the controls being boiled down to tap, flick, and a rare scratch on the DS screen. Each game also has its own tunes, some of which are pretty catchy but so far none I've absolutely fallen in love with.
As with all minigame type compilations, some games outclass other ones although none of them are what I would call bad. One game I particularly struggled with is this one where you have to tap to take a picture of a car on a racetrack as it passes by at high speeds. It just seems to me that it has very little to do with rhythm. The exceptional tapping space adventure, robot filling game, turnip stomping romp, and some other very enjoyable rhthym games more than make up for those very few who seem kind of lackluster, though.
The style and humor presented are very similar to what you would expect in a Warioware title but the major difference between the two is that in Rhythm Heaven you are repeating the same task over and over again for a set amount of time in contrast with Wariowares quickfire challenges. Also, the criteria for passing certain games and especially on acquring those coveted perfects can be pretty brutal. Maybe I'm just too rhythmically challenged but I found myself stuck on several minigames longer than I care to admit. Despite loving a good challenge, in the end I find myself preferring the Warioware games over Rhythm Heaven. Now that's not to say that I don't recommend the title as I really do. The game practically oozes with style and there's definitely a lot of fun to be had. Just know what you're getting into though as this romp could be quite a challenge for those with very little musical talent like myself. On both a high and low note, I feel it will take you more than an afternoon to finish this title. (especially if you're going after the perfects)

| Sadly this looks like one of the last good games for the DS this season. Looking over the release list and it's slim pickins till fall. | |
