NP reveals...

blah, the first one was overhyped and I just couldnt get into it. One of the few DS games I bought at launch.

Well, I went into it with no expectations and I thought it was interesting. The adjectives of this second one could prove even more fun.

Little more than a game oddity, but one to make the history books to be sure. Very cool idea, but like Little Big Planet just isn't as much fun as it should be.

I never played the first but it won many awards for game of the year. Looking at the poll on the side here I see that someone has voted it as the best game of 2009 as well. I've always been interested in trying this but never got around to it. I won't make the same mistake twice. I guarantee that Scribblenauts 2 will be a launch purchase. 10,000 more words and adjectives, and improved controls? Yes. Could this see as many awards as the first? Depends. It won't be a fresh idea anymore so that works against it plus we'll have to see what else comes out this year on the DS. But I'm hyped!
