| Before my gamer card is revoked for life and you all send ravenous dogs to molest me, let me explain: Link is 2 and a half. He plays Mario Party and Wii Sports Resort Sword Fighting almost exclusively, obviously because of the simple mechanics involved. So instead of sipping from the hater-ade container I went and blew $10 lousy bucks on these half-wit concocted "Pooyoos" in hopes that my son would enjoy them, if only slightly. What I found was actually pretty cool, albeit only for children ages 3-6 (as the game makes clear before purchase, LOL). Simple games like waggle-wiggle and button commands/recognition are present, as are repetitions of colors, shapes, and objects. My son loved repeating the words, and actively shouted and danced (and waggled) for about an hour straight. One disappointing aspect was how few games there were to choose from, and a few of the games per episode aren't even games so much as "dance time." He didn't care, so I guess neither should I, right? He can now turn the Wii on, go to the SD card menu, and search out his Pooyoos. They are 500 pts per episode, and there are currently only 2 for download. If you have a little one, I say let them check this out. Link really is enjoying himself, and we know that this is a gateway game if you follow. He's already wanting to try other games with more complex controls... > | |

| No gamer cards will be pulled. Mine would have been burned in a bonfire years ago with some of the considered crap that I love. I've considered getting that for my daughter but haven't just yet. Don't know why. She seemed to like the theme song (they say poo poo) and the few games they have on the website. We have a little one due in the middle of May so I think I'll pick these up to occupy her while baby sister is shooting out. | |
