| Um...... yes I've played this before. Um.........I won't say much but this game is really good and definitely hard to beat. I finally beat it except it was on the internet at nintendo8.com so yeah I did it over and over again. Well I think it's a character name Ryu who is looking for his father and rescue him from evil A wholes and it's up to Ryu to save him........yes his real name is Ryu. Also some musics are really good buuuuuuut.....not getting my oomph style in me. The gameplay is excellent and I think there are many Ninja fans who really like Ninjas, then they better like Ninja Gaiden for the world. Um, the stages are easy at first and then to normal and then to hard and theeeeen to insane! Yes the last stage are insane to avoid I am not joking here. Overall this game is fun but find a da** way to beat this game for yourself.
Discuss this game and tell us why you think it's either good or worse.

| This game was good for the simple reason that the gameplay was so tight. It controlled perfectly, and thankfully so. Otherwise some of those near impossible obstacles you have to get through in the game would actually be impossible. The graphics and sound were some of the best the NES ever saw in its lifetime. This was also one of the first games for the NES to really use story as a positive. The little cut scenes were amazing back in the day (at least I thought so). I do not think I will ever forget the opening scene with Ken Hyabusa and the other unnamed ninja in a battle to the death, with Ken of course falling. I actually beat both this title and Ninja Gaiden II on the same day this past spring (I felt like a legend after that feat ). | |

| Very good game here. I played this to death years ago and surprised myself by flying through it earlier this year. I amazed myself again when I got to the last 3 bosses, one after the other, and immediately remembered what was necessary to beat them. Didn't die. Lier X Agerate said it, the controls are very tight, only problem being how far back you fly after getting hit. Music, graphics, and cut scenes together create one unforgettable experience. | |

So many NES games have this failing, it almost cannot be considered anything but the way things were... Castlevania, Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden... ok maybe those are the only 3 I can think of but yeah. I just whipped out the Trilogy on SNES and got my ass handed to me.

| Ah yes the Trilogy. I wished they had improved the graphics on that like Super Mario All-Stars but the games retained all their fun so I didn't care too much. | |
