Peter Gabriel

Listening to Peter Gabriel's album "Hit" and "Shock the Monkey" in particular. Pretty out there, kinda bizarre and totally catchy. I believe Coal Chamber covered this song with Ozzy Osbourne doing back-ups. Not cool IMO. hahahaha

Anyway, the album isn't bad, check it out!!! For fans of: Genesis, Yes, Phil Collins.

I am a Phil Collins fan but haven't been a fan of Peter Gabriel in the past. But if you say so, Maybe I'll check out Shock the Monkey.

On a side note since you mention Osbourne, have you read Ozzy's new book? Wife just read it. Filled with so much crazy stuff. The guy should've died a hundred times with all the drugs he did. One fact in particular I found amusing...he went in for an AIDS test and it came back borderline positive. Retook it and it was negative. How did this happen? He had so many drugs running through his system his body thought it had AIDS.

You like Phil Collins but not Gabriel? Really? After listening to more Gabriel I found that Phil Collins really just wished he could be as good as Peter. Just my opinion, but all the REALLY progressive rock from Genesis was Gabriel, once he left and Phil took over they def. went more commercial.

I like Phil and Peter. Think they both have their strengths.

I agree, and I actually thought (though the movie sucked IMO) Tarzan's music was pretty cool. I say that cause Phil got some backlash for doing it. I say if music can be good and not filthy what's the problem, lol.

To be honest, I just really haven't sat down with a good Peter Gabriel album like Collins. So it isn't so much a matter of not liking it as it is not trying it.
