NBA JAM.....

No longer exclusive to the Wii. Yet another game I will wait to come out on a different console. HD resolution + online play and I garuntee a cheaper price.

No online is confirmed for the Wii @ E3.

and I picked this up off of Neogaf...btu apprently if it shows up on that international site its pretty much confirmed as they havent been wrong yet.

The Wii version may still have online. They're more concerned with getting it up to 60 frames per second, along with extra easter eggs and game modes than online. Don't hate it if it does go multi platform. That just means more gamers get to have more fun!

how bout hating it for costing $50 on your Wii, or $15-$20 to download it on PSN or xbox live?

That all depends on if those other versions have all the extras the Wii version will have. If the other versions have everything plus online, then yeah, that's kind of a bum deal. Being that I only have a Wii I will still have to throw down the $50 to get it.

But think about this....I will actually OWN my copy of the game.

$50 is way steeper than $10-20, thats for sure! Especially for a game I've already played (with re-buffed graphics, big deal IMO). Same thing as Punch-Out. $50 for the same game as an 80s NES game??? And then Club Nintendo releases this asinine Doc Louis version which is the same as regular Punch Out but with Doc instead of Soda Moron. At least that one was free!!! lol

If the PSN and Live both have online, AND the game is cheaper... man... LAME. Playing Jam online with my friends is basically a vital reason I was looking to revisit the series.

Also, as a collector I prefer exclusive titles. Multi-platform games are not nearly as collectible.

as would I if I were to DL it. I just wouldnt have a physical disc. and that disc is not worth $30 extra.

you can't sell back your DL copy of it, you don't really own it, just rights to play it. You're stuck with it regardless. No value whatsoever. A collectors nightmare.

Shut Up and Jam- one of my favorite Genesis games, lol!!!

Never tried Barkley Shut Up and Jam. I hated him when he played. But his commentary now is gold.

His playing was more physical brute than actual raw talent at the game, his attitude and dominant spirit is what got him popular. The game is excellent, I suggest you get a copy Streex my boy!!!

I am a huge Shaq fan so I will probably get Shaq-Fu first. I do want to try Barkley Shut Up and Jam though. At my old job I used to have a poster up in my cubicle for Shut Up and Jam. lol. From Nintendo Power of course!
