| Just picked up this game and can't wait to play it. Haven't played in a long time. It looks like an RPG the way it has an overhead map but this is an adventure game more like The Legend of Zelda. You start off with a Yo-Yo as your weapon and many of the items you find look like they came from Zelda, even the health hearts at the top of the screen look like they were pulled from Zelda. There's a part in the game where you have to access a letter that came with the game to find a code to advance. I made sure to find one for sale that had that letter included for the full effect. I thought that was the coolest thing back in the day. The music is very good and memorable, still can hum it to this day. | |

| It's been forever for me too. I'm going to play through it again in a couple days and I'll let you know. I just know that you need that letter. They changed it for the VC version. | |

| Ok. Just passed the part where you need the letter. You need it between Chapter 4 and 5. To get you Sub-C started and tracking the location of your Uncle, you have to submerge the letter in water. Very cool. There is a visible written part on the top half of the letter, but when you get it wet, wording on the bottom half becomes visible. Included with it is a tracking code you need to put into the game so you can find your uncle. Very nice. I like this interaction outside the game. I think in the VC version they just give you the code. | |

| I hear the music from this game in my sleep. I've played through it several times. The jump in difficulty from the main part of the game to the last level was jarringly sharp, but that only made beating it all the more rewarding. Tons of fun. It's sad the same couldn't be said for the sequel, which was fairly bland. | |
