Super Mario Almost All Stars

It was only $30 bucks, true. It has really cool packaging, also true. A neat cd and booklet.

But the only supe-up was wii remote control? How about a little more of a graphical spruce up, or better yet: more games.
Seriously, 4 nes games hardly constitutes paying $30. Each of these games on VC is $5 so basically I paid $10 extra for a booklet and cd of stuff I already knew from the internet.

I'm only half complaining really. After all, the 4 games are amazing. Well 3 of 4. Lost levels sucked.

Love the game(s) myself but I couldn't agree more that they should've put more games on this, including an updated interface. It's exactly the same as the Super NES version. They didn't even bother updating the copyright date at the bottom of the title screen. A true package here would've included Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and Super Mario 64. Still a great package and collection.

I love Lost Levels. Frustratingly fun. Never beat it and trying to get past 7-4.

picked mine up at toys r us for 19.99 today in mint condition. $10 off all mario games ftw. will keep it as a collectible along with my sealed Famicom game boy micro

I got this yesterday and haven't played it yet but I'm excited! Its true they could've put more on it but its not a waste of money, its actually a saving in Australia because the 4 VC games would cost 2100 points so you'd have to buy 3000 which would cost $45 but the Wii version, with updated graphics, sound and a CD and booklet plus Club Nintendo stars only costs $40. So by buying the Wii version you're saving money and getting better games. Also it will be worth a lot one day unlike the VC versions.
