| Ninfest.com is experiencing some technical difficulties. The site is up for all to see but I am unable to post any new content right now. Issue started Sunday. I'll try to get it going as soon as I can but at this point I probably won't be able to do any serious tinkering until the weekend. What a way to start the new year. | |

| Like the daily news posts and weekly game launch rundown. But really, nothing can be updated at this time. The forums here are working fine. It's the Ninfest.com site that is having issues. | |

| Ninfest.com is FINALLY back up. Sorry for the month long delay. Turns out that the current software doesn't allow for a massive blog. So when the news page reached a certain number of posts, it caused havoc. The whole site was unable to be updated. Took awhile to find this to be the problem but glad it is resolved. Unfortunately to get back up I had to delete the entire News page and start from scratch. 2 whole years of news posts...gone. There seems to be one big problem that arises every year so I plan to rebuild the site with new software and a new host, hoping for less problems in the future. However, this won't happen until the next Nintendo home console arrives so the current look and build of Ninfest will remain the same until then. When the site does get a facelift I'm expecting a lot more traffic since I will take great care in SEO (search engine optimization). The current site does not allow this meaning Ninfest doesn't come up in searches often unless you do a direct search for "Ninfest". If you search for a particular Nintendo story, chances are you won't find a link to the site. This may be part of the reason why we've only seen a slow increase of traffic over the years on the main site and few new members here on the forums. I want to thank you guys again for being here through the early years of Ninfest and regardless of how many new peeps drop by when the site gets an overhaul, you guys are the ones that will always mean the most to me. As for the forums, I like to give them a facelift every year so expect a new look soon. | |

| Cool, can't wait for a new look! I wonder when the next console is coming out? It could take a while. | |
