Ultimate Duck Hunting

I'm crazy. I told you guys that already right? Here we have Ultimate Duck Hunting, by Detn8. Shovelware I'm sure. Well this is the best shovelware I've ever tried! I must have a hunting bone in my body waiting to be discovered because I really dig these hunting games. In this true sim duck hunting experience, you get to pick your gun, attire, dog and amount of decoys. First you layout your decoys and then use your two bird calls to lure in the ducks. Blast em and they fall out of the sky. That's when the motion control comes in to guide your dog to the duck and have him bring them in. Quick Start, Career mode and multiplayer mode. In multiplayer mode there are blue ducks that are worth more points and red ducks that take away points. Goal is to get more points! If your opponent is lagging, try to get your dog to steal some of their ducks and go for the win.

The graphics aren't half bad and the music well... it's what you'd expect from a game like this. Mostly hillbilly chart toppers. Some of it surprisingly is done well and then other tracks sound like they came from a bad Super NES title. The aiming reticle moves around a bit too fast when trying to steady for the right shot. Very sensitive but you'll get used to this. I had a true blast with this game. If you love hunting then you'll love Ultimate Duck Hunting.
