Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

$70. Thats what I'll start this off with. If you have $70 to waste on a deeper version of paint, read on. If not- well, go watch Shutter Island or something.

The peripheral itself is smaller than it looks, which isn't a complaint just an observation. When I took it out of the box, I was a bit saddened because I had just envisioned a bigger tablet. I digress...

It works pretty well, but there is a slight disconnect between the pen and your brain. By this I mean I found I want to use the pen like a mouse, but that is not how the tablet works. The tablet is the same "size" as the screen shown on the tv, so wherever you set the pen on the tablet, so it appears on the screen without having to scroll or lift up your hand like you would a mouse. Maybe I am just awkward with it.

Honestly, its an overglorified overpriced paint application. But Link loves it, and I think Pictionary holds promise. I have yet to pick it up tho.

I'm not at all into the software, but I like this Game Tablet. Having the pointer placed in the exact spot on the screen from where you place the stylus on the tablet is perfect. A little odd at first since we are a nation of mouse draggers. You do get used to it. I found it to be a bit small too but the drawing surface acting as the perfect size to the TV, it works. I'm not an artist in the slightest so I'll be looking to the future to see what other types of support the Game Tablet gets.
