E3 chat on Ninfest forums

Hey guys! I'm pumped! I know you are. E3 is only 2 weeks away. I'm going to be in the chatbox at the bottom of the main page here on the forums at 8:30am PST on June 15th. Nintendo's press conference kicks off at 9am PST that same day and would love to kick off some random chat/predictions a half hour before the show and then continue to share opinions/impressions during the show. I'll be watching it live on G4 but you can also watch a feed at e3.nintendo.com. There are many other ways to get the live feed but hope you can at least keep one window open on the Ninfest Forums!

Would you mind working out what time that would be for me? I would love to be there but I need to know what time it is. (and day!) lol timezones are confusing.

I believe that would be 11:30pm on June 15th West Australia time. Hope you can make it. It's going to make the next day at school a groggy one.

Hmmm, at least it isn't at like 3am or something. At least I can get SOME sleep afterwards. I stayed up til midnight 2 nights ago playing Spirit Tracks so 11:30 isn't too bad. I should be there (as long as I can make myself get up at that time. lol) I do agree the next day at school will suck!

So, who's gonna be there later? I will make myself get up before 11:30 pm to go on the chat with whoever is there before it starts at midnight! Just 6 and a half hours to go!!

Well...according to the poll Attack of the Show held, the numbers looked like this:

Nintendo :: 40%
Microsoft :: 33%
Sony :: 27%

Surprised Microsoft got more votes than Sony but the one thing I agree with here is Ninty. Finally I can say Nintendo had the best keynote without people looking at me weird!

While Kinect may not sound/look as cool as it "should," at least they weren't coming off quite as smug as SONY was. They acted like their motion controller was head over heels better than the Wiimote. I have yet to try it, doubt I ever will really (I know only 1 person with a ps-triple as opposed to hundreds with Wiis and dozens of M$ owners). But the attitude at E3 is supposed to be about excitement, not taking shots and being negative towards others. Maybe thats why SONY got 3rd. :\

no the reason sony got third is because its a video game fanboy site. The funniest one I saw was Gizmodod giving the win to Microsoft....

im saying that only the hardcore fanoboys really troll the g4 site. your poll will be skewed for sheezy. Kinda like putting aup a poll here, nintendo will always win

A Nintendo poll here doesn't always win unfortunately. The results for the main site poll 'do you own a ds' shockingly garnished the most votes for 'no, and I have no plans to get one'. Maybe the Sony and Xbox fanboy visitors were trying to stir up trouble. It blew me away.

It's getting close to that time again friends! Like last year, who wants to jump in the forums to chat while Nintendo talks about Wii 2? It's going to be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 9am PST. We had Triz, ZeldAnTales, Matthew999, and Antilles in here last E3. Hoping Nintendo Furniture can join us this year! I'll move the chatbox to the top of the homepage on that day so it is easy to jump right in. Who's going to make it? As of right now I'll be there since my job status is still uncertain.

O geez Wii 2 and others great games that we are going to talk about. 9 a.m.? Dang I usually get on at 1 p.m. cause my brother is always on the morning laptop which I don't mind at first. I will remember it. I just don't know how to say anything about it till now.

I'll be there for sure. Another midnight E3 for me. I'm gonna pay for it the next day, but it's E3!

I think you're east coast time so it will start at noon for you.

Oh crap! Well alright but first I will be playing Animal Crossing City Folk in the morning so hopingly my brother would get off the laptop at the right time.
