| I went all out in my quest to beat Punch-Out!! Not only did I use the Balance Board, but I also used these Boxing Gloves. They look and feel like real gloves and could probably use them for real boxing. Thankfully they not only have Wiimote/Nunchuk pockets on the outside, but also on the inside so you can use the controls if you need to. Unfortunately, the pockets aren't very big and it was a struggle to get the Wiimote to fit (tore the netting a little to get it in). Plus it was fairly difficult to get my thumbs around the correct part of the controls. The Nunchuk kept sliding just enough that I had to keep pushing it down to be in optimal placement under thumb. Sadly I cannot recommend them. They made the experience very cumbersome to go along with sweaty hands, and combined with the use of the Balance Board it made beating Punch-Out a very difficult task. Not the kind of difficulty I like. This kind of difficulty came from Balance Board not reading moves correctly and having a hard time pressing the right buttons. Pass. | |

Underutilized, unnecessary peripheral at this point.

| Not the biggest fan of the Balance Board or the Boxing Gloves. It just doesn't work very well with Punch-Out! When I first started using it, it kept wanting to recalibrate everytime I knocked the guy down. When that stopped happening, I would have problems getting Little Mac to duck or dodge the way I wanted. Many times it didn't matter because a dodge even in the wrong direction still kept me safe, but when you get down to the last few guys (especially Mr. Sandman), you have to dodge a certain way to avoid getting hit. That resulted in me getting pummeled a lot for no reason. | |

| It's a failing of the balance board that I imagine is difficult to program around. See, when you make a sudden move- to the left, for instance, you actually end up pressing firmly with your right foot to force yourself to the left faster. Unfortunately, the only way the board can read that is by weight, and at that exact moment, you have more pressure on the right, despite the fact that you are leaning to the left.
Wait- the gloves also have pockets inside??? If...the controller is inside so you can hit the buttons... wait, wait... here's a crazy idea... How about we just hold the controllers in our hands and... oh yeah. Nevermind.

| Would be interesting at first. But now everything just seems useless. Man why can't they make good stuff for once? And I mean by making things the right way by tweaking bugs and other craps out there. | |
