Kirby TV Channel

Thats right, a new Wii channel that shows Kirby cartoons launched Thursday in Europe/Australia. Completely unexpected and free so it was a nice surprise. A new cartoon is added every Monday and Thursday for the next 6 months, totalling 51 episodes. Each episode expires after 2 weeks but can be 'unlocked' again for a little longer if you find a hidden key in the channel. The first episode is always available to watch. Now onto the channel itself, it is very easy to use and works very well. You can view a sort of TV guide to see what episodes will be on when and see a summary of the episode. And the best part is out of the 2 times I've used it, I had the tiniest bit of loading for 2 seconds and was then perfect the whole time unlike the Nintendo Channel which pauses every 2 seconds! I hope Nintendo keeps it up with other themed channels. It's a great idea. And the cartoons aren't that bad either I would give it a 4/5

Finally some new channels! Are these brand new Kirby cartoons or are they the ones that have been airing on TV already? If this comes to the US, it will finally get me to watch a few episodes.

Doubt it will come to us. And its the cartoon episodes, not new.
It'd be tits if it did come to us, but its not a very... American sounding idea IDK lol

They aired all those shows on the Fox Box for years. I watched 1 episode and never returned. You're right, it doesn't sound like something the US will get. If there was ever a possibility I think it would coincide with the launch of the new Kirby Wii games coming out later.

Strangely, I still am! In fact there is a new episode available today.

I'm assuming all the episodes have been aired on the Kirby Channel by now. Was it a great experience overall? Is there any reason to keep the Channel now that no more content will arrive?

Yeah it finished up in December. No reason to keep it, as the channel has expired, but I still like to have it. I still have the Metroid Prime 3 Preview Channel!

Argh! I'm jealous! I deleted my Metroid Prime preview channel. I wish I never did. I still have the Raving Rabbid Channel even though that is dead.

I believe the Kirby TV Channel is back up and running again with all the episodes available to watch. Haven't checked it out for myself yet though.

Gosh I wish they would give it to us. Give our Wii's a little extra life Nintendo! We still have 7 months until Wii U time! When it comes to stuff like this, I hope Nintendo changes their practice for Wii U. Just give all regions the same stuff. We know Kirby just as much as the next region!
