| Its like they keep making me feel like I messed up buying this thing. - Quote :
- Officially the cradle adds:
- A right analog slide-pad - R1, R2, L2 shoulder buttons (the normal 3DS L1 button is not replaced) - An earphone port at the bottom
Unannounced, but speculated based on CE Marks on the inside of the cradle: - The cradle could be a battery pack or have a container for the battery - The cradle also has wireless functions, possibly replacing those on the 3DS

| Oh for heavens sake. I love attachments and peripherals but this is my worst nightmare. It was announced with some exciting news that Monster Hunter 3G is on the way to 3DS.
At first I was thinking this add on would just be for MH3G, kind of like when the Classic Controller was first made for the Wii version. But then I got to thinking about Iwata's comments last week when he said that not adding a second Circle Pad was a big mistake. I really feel like a redesign is on the way.
They should just do it as soon as possible before they piss off too many people. That way the 3DS will have the same button layout as the Wii U controller and they can easily integrate the two somehow.
Oh...I wouldn't call it a dongle. That's a definite attachment. Slap your 3DS in this big plastic mold gamers!

| It's alright if it's just for Monster Hunter but if it becomes standard and built into a new 3DS, I will be rightly annoyed. Guess we'll find out next week, won't we? | |

| Streex, the classic controller was out before Monster Hunter. I assume you mean the CC Pro.
If it's just for Monster Hunter, okay... and if the speculation is true about the additional battery, I'd be tempted to get it just for that...

| Yeah I meant Classic Controller Pro. Nintendo bends backwards for Capcom and their Monster Hunter games. I can't think of any other games besides maybe GoldenEye that the CC Pro was really necessary. But in this case a second Circle Pad seems like a much needed addition that would make things like camera control so much easier. That was another thing I didn't like about Pilotwings Resort. Using buttons to look around. A second Circle Pad would have made it feel more fluid and not awkward. | |

| I am semi glad I haven't had internet because I would be raging. This is nonsense. It had better be for SOME games and not all (though I'll be buying it regardless, this irritates the piss outta me!). Otherwise a re-design is just... well itt'd be dumb not to. But my REAL question is: what 20 shitty games can they give me next time to stop me from going postal on their noncommittal asses??! Pics?!??! | |

| I'm with you Z. Don't want to but gonna have to buy it. Unless they get the redesign out to us pretty quickly, then I'll just wait for that. I think Antilles said Nintendo should give us all one of these attachments for free. | |

| This has got to be the biggest screw-up in Nintendo history. Yes, that includes Virtual Boy. Obviously, the 3DS is not a bad system- I'm not saying that- it's just that it is ALL JACKED UP!!! What a freaking mess! | |

| Worse than the Virtual Boy? That's hurtful. My 3DS was sitting next to me when I read that and it closed itself. | |

| I agree. If this is any indication of how the Wii U will fair... I worry for their future... | |

| If I were them, I might consider building an expansion port into the Wii-U... like with the N64. Only this time the expansion doubles the RAM and CPU. That way they can keep the cost reasonable up front and still keep up when Microsoft and Sony come out with their spectacularly unimaginable beefed-up muscle machines a year or two later. | |
