Wii U not as powerful as 360 or PS3...

...and now we are in range for an onslaught of Wii U craziness until E3.

Those were unnamed developers I might add. Plus if "the graphics are just not as powerful" means we get a Zelda game that looks like what was shown at E3, I could care less. If this holds true I wouldn't worry much. After all the Wii took the crown from the HD consoles. Thanks to that tried and true Nintendo innovation. Sales prove that innovation, great gameplay, and above all the Nintendo lineup are better than any slapped together HD visual.

Innovation may be the key once again for Nintendo if this quote has any weight to it:

Innovation is always the key with Nintendo, but COME ON!!!

If what they are saying is true, Nintendo is just being stupid. I appreciate that they want to avoid unnecessary costs and give us a reasonably-priced piece of hardware, (except for the 3DS...) but HOW OLD IS THE PS3?!!?

If you want to win over the PS3/XBO360 idiots, you need to do it with SPECS!!! They don't CARE what the end result is. They DON'T CARE how fun the games are. They want the biggest, strongest machine there is. It is NOT HARD or COSTLY to beat the specs on machines that are several years old! It's just not that hard! If you can't tell these people unequivocally that the Wii-U is better in every way, they won't give your games a first glance! They want eye candy, and if the specs say this machine is graphically inferior, they just won't even look!

Aside from all of that, Nintendo will only have a year, MAYBE two at most before THEIR next-gen consoles come out! By then they'll have had time to copy what works from what Nintendo did, add some minor tweaks, AND pump their machines to double the Wii-U, and Nintendo will be forgotten by all but their strongest supporters.

Creativity and innovation can only carry you so far. A new-and-improved ROB the robot won't make NES the top system again. Don't go into this half-hearted Nintendo!

I think we are giving some "unnamed devs" too much weight here. Some of these guys are just asshats.

I will say this: if Wii U isn't as graphically powerful as the other 2 consoles... why have I read several other articles saying its more powerful?

I'm thinking some fanboys OR someone paid by sony or microsoft made these comments. Like you said we have heard nothing but debates on how much better Wii U games will look. Now all the sudden this turd drops. I think I wasted my time reading this drivel.

I'm sure you're probably right. I hope you're right- for Nintendo's sake.
