3DS outselling past hardware very quickly

It seems like only a month ago Pachter was telling us the 3DS was doomed, to which the hard facts simply would not agree with. Here's more proof Rich at IGN has shared to show just how good the 3DS has done.

Triz sold his!?! Anyway, don't Nintendo's portables usually outsell their consoles? This isn't much of a measure to go by. Outselling the DS would be the gold standard. (And outselling the whole Gameboy line would be the platinum standard...)

Yeah Triz sold it. Guess he doesn't like the best handheld gaming money can buy! lol. You can delete his friend code. After I transfer my stuff to the new 3DS XL I'll give you guys my new friend code. You can keep the old friend code too. The name attached to it will change to my daughters.

And yes, all of Nintendo's portables have sold better than their consoles except the Wii has outsold the GameBoy Advance.

But you know what's awesome?!? The DS is less than a million away from passing the PS2 on the all time list. Seeing how well the DS is selling this holiday season we could get a press release from Nintendo in January detailing the epic sales record.

Also for the record, the Wii is less than 3 million away from 100 million sold.

The new Wii Mini should boost that!

Heh. I'm not sure it has 3 million sales left in it...

Well... I'ma get one. >.<
