RE: Dark Side Chronicles

Got the game last week, just haven't had much internet time lately.  For thoise who played the original RE: chronicles game, then you already know what to expect.  So far, it;'s a huge upgrade from ther original.  Levels are much longer and more action packed.  The character interactions are done brilliantly.  I haven't had a chance to try co-op woth a friend, but so far the CPU partner does help out much more in completing missions.

For fans of the clasic RE games, this is definitely a treat for those.  Also newer fans of RE4 get a very nice background story involving both Leon and Jack Krauser during their first mission.

I really enjoyed this game (especially since RE2 and RE4 are my favorites of the series). My cousin and I played it and pretty much finished it in a night. Fortunately, we had some practice going through the first Umbrella Chronicles together. I only really highly recommend this game, though, if you both enjoy light gun games a lot and have a friend to play with. It is not that single player is bad, but two player is just so much better. I agree with hcfwesker, though, that it really is a substantial upgrade to the previous title.

I haven't tried it yet but I'll rush assumption that I'd love it. I did play Umbrella Chronicles co-op which was too much fun. I think co-op is the way these types of games should be played.
