Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Wii Sports Resort. This game is in every way shape and form better than Wii Sports. The controls are so precise, so real, it actually takes getting used to because you want to act differently. Golf is now as real as it can get, I can put spin on the ball, hook left... it's amazing. Disc golf, another gem. Feels like throwing a disc (less hard of course!).

Unfortunately, only a few games utilize this bad boy as of now, we are all waiting to see Ubisoft's failattempt Red Steel 2, me being very skeptical. Obviously. haha

Zelda Wii anyone? :3

Wow that sounds great! I always did wonder if the wii-motion plus would make it any better than what it already is Smile seems like it does. I am hoping to get a wii again to be honest so this will deffinetly be something I will try out.

Hurry! Time is running out! Purchase, purchase, purchase!!

Oh how I love this little device. Surprising though I feel Wii Sports is slightly better than Wii Sports Resort. I was a little disappointed in most of the games in WSR that use the WM+. Felt tacked on and didn't really show what it can do, like the rowing and biking. But some like Archery and sword fighting really nailed it. It's because of a few of the games in WSR that made me a believer of what the future holds for WM+.

Wii Sports better than Resort? Ok, Streex, you've been smoking some bad granola.

Bowling = better on Resort.
Ping Pong = better than Tennis.
Boxing on WS is awful and you know it. lol
Golf = better on Resort.
Baseball is also garbage.

Resort takes the win! Seriously, though, you have to explain why a bit better for me. They made improvements on the games worth bringing back for a repeat, and while yes some of the motion stuff was tacked on you could say that of Wii Sports and its shabby boxing/baseball games.

AND Resort had like 5 more games than the other, and just the Pilotwings intro alone makes it better, c'mon!!! LOL

Oh well, as Fez once said, "different strokes, for different strokes."

I just watched an episode of that yesterday. LOL.

Those games improved on WSR are better but man you can give me a disc with 100 games on it and if only 3 are fun I'm going to be pissed. With Wii Sports Resort it felt like a lot of filler was included to make it look like more of a value. Not meant to be that way I'm sure, but I would have rather they worked on 5 completely new sports and refined them into the best 5 experiences I could have with WM+. Not a bad game by any means...just wanted to clarify.

I did like baseball and boxing in Wii Sports. I'm alone on that I know. Especially Boxing. Nobody gets it. I got down the controls and the gameplay and I enjoyed boxing my way up to Pro status.

I think they both have 5 good games but WSR has a bunch more. I say I liked the original better but it's because I can go around and play any while in WSR many get ignored. To show you how close I feel these games are I'd give Wii Sports a 3.9/5 and Wii Sports Resort a 3.8/5.
