| In addition to being quite a mouthful to say (so we will refer to it as SRTOGSEF) this game is sort of a guilty pleasure of mine. First off I want to say that this game is greatly inspired by Japanese style anime so if that is not something you enjoy, you WILL NOT enjoy this game. I guess I'll just have to break it down to explain it. First off, you should not go into this game expecting a deep narrative with complex battle strategies and characters who push the very definition of grey. To put it bluntly this game is about violence, sex, and saving the world. There is some character development that is done well enough, but I'll be honest. The reason I picked this title up was for the over the top fighting, the satirization of the RPG genre, and the girls' "bouncy" personalities. (what can I say, I'm male) Knowing what I was getting myself into, I was not dissapointed. The combat is relatively straight forward and can be downright crazy with the insane number of combos you can rack up. The humor is usually quite low brow but still a good time as long as you don't mind it. Finally, the characters were generally enjoyable well beyond their obvious gifted traits. I will admit that after a while the battle style made fighting weaker monsters sort of a chore. It can take a while to take care of even the simplest fights. With how often you'll be battling too, it can take some of the spark out of the grandeur of your party's attacks. Despite the repetition, though, I found quite a bit of joy in trying to top my previous max combo score and max damage score every time I ran into a boss. Overall, I say I enjoyed this game enough to warrant the purchase. Recommending it to others is difficult, though, due to the niche quality of the title. It is all up to personal preferences. This game is not going to revolutionize anything but I say it is well worth at least considering if you like the genre and preferably anime. Oh, and good luck trying to find the game if you are looking for it now. It is hard to find. | |

| Good luck finding it? I didn't want it until you said THAT. lol
EDIT: Oh, it's not that rare you can get it for like $30. Not collectable enough to care. :3 | |

| I don't think it is going to be collectible any time soon. Like I said, it is by no means a title of extremely high quality. It is just one of my guilty pleasures. Also, I said good luck finding it because it pretty much disappeared from my general area (I got the last one I found) and it was as high as $40+ on Amazon last time I checked due to limited stock. (plus it doesn't hurt that it is an Atlus title, always have to get those titles early on) | |
