Hi everyone. I used to be in another Nintendo forum, but the community was anti-nintendo...which doesn't make sense to me seeing as it was a forum for nintendo. Anyway, Hit me up on here if you want to play some kart, or some fire emblem shadow dragon on wifi.

I've seen some Nintendo forums anti Nintendo too. Criticism sure, but blatant hating on a Nintendo site is not really a Nintendo site. So far everyone has been awesome here with only a few spammers that have been removed. Great to have you!

Yeah we don't muck around @ Forum-N much these days. I still MOD the place but its the same bullshit over and over, always talking shit about Nintendo. Drives me nuts.

Welcome Shag. Im pretty much the only Nintendo hater here I think...and I dont relly hate Nintendo just some of the decisions they make.

I can agree in some instances that Nintendo makes shabby decisions, but honestly I think that if today's "gamers" weren't all fps fags (who get a boner when a new game comes out that allows you to use anything in the game as a weapon) then I think Nintendo would be able to delve more into the hardcore gamers of the past, who played RPG's, and played video games for the quality of the games and enjoyment of the franchises.

Look at almost every single xbox 360 hit. It's a god damn fps. and Microsoft has made about 2-5 sequels to all their biggest hits.

Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo wars, Halo Reach, Halo ODST.
Call of duty, 2, 3, Modern warfare, world at war, MW2.
Gears of war, gears of war 2, gears of war 3 (coming soon)
Left 4 dead, left 4 dead 2, left 4 dead 3.
Grand Theft auto (god knows how many of these games exist. They all suck)
Splinter Cell (another franchise who shits out a new game every 5 months)

Now I'm not saying that Nintendo doesn't release sequels, but when they do, they spend years on them to make sure they're good. Obviously there are a few exceptions, but for the most part, Nintendo makes quality games.

Coming back to the actual point of this post, Nintendo may make shitty decisions from time to time, but i would definitly except shitty decisions so long as the quality of their games (not third party franchises so much) does not deteriorate

I can understand a disliking of Animal Crossing or WiiMusic, but why the hate for Pikmin, Triz?

Whether a game is better or not does not disqualify Smash Bros from being a fighter. What is wrong with changing the concept of a fighter and meshing it with a multiplayer party game? I'll take a gaming party with Smash Bros over a party with Street Fighter 3 any day.

Also, skill is all relative. It takes a lot of skill to play Smash Bros well, as it does with SF3. You cannot say one takes more than the other because there is no way to prove such a statement, or even compare them since they are not even in the same realm of gameplay/style categorization. I happen to like Smash Bros better than Street Fighter because Street Fighter has been the same for so long it lost my interest. Just me.

What "crazy" games do you mean? A lot of games aren't my thing but I don't hate on them. I don't like playing Animal Crossing or Pikmin either, but I can see why others do love them. They are great games that I don't like to play. Same with stuff like Midnight Club or Forza, I know they're awesome but I don't like playing them.

As for WiiMusic I am sad for Miyamoto, for the bullshit he takes for creating such a great gift to children. All the adults/teens bitch and moan about how lame it is, and I say you've forgotten what its like to discover the fun of gaming. My son is mesmerized by this, and yes, it took a mass amount of genius and talent to put such a cohesive and informational game together. I'm not saying this game is some milestone of "gaming" as much as it is a version of gaming Dr. Suess. Elegant in its child-like demeanor. Oh well, enough. I don't want to argue about WiiMusic, ROFL!!!
