| I was playing this yesterday for the first time in a while after I finished it and missread the message at the end where it asks you to save your file for a second quest and saved over my finished file where I was going for 100%... yeah that was pretty stupid. I let my friend borrow it for ages and he got into the second quest a little bit before he gave it back. Anyways I was playing where I was up to the Forsaken Fortress for the second (?) time when you rescue your sister and meet Ganondorf and I remembered how much I love this game! It is my second fave Zelda game after Majora's Mask because I seem to love the different sort of Zelda games. So what where your thoughts on this game? Did you enjoy it as much as I did? | |

| I surely did enjoy this. There was a big worry over the new graphics but once you started playing it just fit perfectly. Seeing Link with so many facial expressions for the first time added some emotion to your character. The boating I'll admit was a bit tedious and what a reward it was when you finally got the ability to warp. To see them end this game with a sword down Ganon's head was a shocker and really put the cherry on top of this epic quest. | |

| Yes Link shows a lot more emotion in this game than any other Zelda and adds a bit of humour with Link getting blasted into walls all the time! Stabbing Ganon in the head was a big surprise at the end that made you go wow, I just stabbed Ganon in the head! I never had too much of a problem with the boating coz you could just leave the control for a few minutes and come back but now in Spirit Tracks you're always on the watch for enemies that might kill you (and you have to manually stop at every station so you don't want to miss it). Plus, there was plenty of extra islands to find and put on your map which I enjoyed exploring for them. I didn't really like what they did with the boat in Phantom Hourglass, making you draw a route and not as much exploring for islands. | |

| I liked the route mapping because it was less work for me getting from point a to point b, plus the whole drawing thing to make notes of where things were was a great addition.
What I liked about boating in Wind Waker worked for me on a different level. I could be roaming the ocean and peer off into the distance and see an island I didn't know was there. Immediately turn toward it and find something new. It had a more open ocean feel and more of a sense of discovery; really felt like you were out there. I think part of the reason Wind Waker felt more open, unfair to Phantom Hourglass, is the size difference of the screens each was played on. | |

| WW is a gem. Nintendo took a gamble with the art direction, and ultimately paid off. I don't care for Spirit Tracks tho. | |

| I remember playing this before, but I wasn't really good at it because it is too confusing for me to go on. My brother Ian on the other hand not only he already beated the game, but also he has every heart containers and he only has some figurines which is still not complete but he will get to it around. | |

| When it comes to Zelda games like Wind Waker, I always make it a point to get everything. It really extends the game for an already long game but I like doing that with Zelda games because I always feel sad when I come to the end knowing it's going to be awhile for another epic Zelda quest. Getting everything pushes back that ultimate feeling of sadness of having to pull the game out of the console and moving on to another game. Wind Waker gave me one of these moments. | |
