Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Never, mobile gaming is just a fad and will die off soon.

Probably, unless Nintendo drops their prices.

Disney's Tarzan (N64) Tarzan64_screen017

Tarzan, the game based on the likable Disney movie. And with every Disney movie, there is a video game. Is it good? Read on...

Tarzan is a 2D platformer with 3D graphics. You play as Tarzan, a man-ape, and you must get through 13 levels of swinging, sliding and fruit throwing. The game is really quite fun. There is lots to do in a level, and there are special levels like swimming in a lake, riding a pelican and in one level you can play as your friend Terk who is a monkey. It is fun. There are a lot of items to get, like the letters T-A-R-Z-A-N to get story scenes that string up the plot together, four pieces of a monkey picture to open up bonus levels, and lots of coins. You fight using fruit and a spear blade and there is a cool move which pounds the ground until it breaks.

A really good story. It is about Tarzan growing up from a small kid to a man-ape. He has to prove to Kerchak, ruler of the apes, that he is worthy of his name. He also runs into some humans and makes friends with them. Tarzan now has to decide who is more important: the apes, who raised him, or humans, his own species? Want to know? You have to play the game.

Lovely sound. The music is composed by Phil Collins, who did the music for the film and it sounds exactly like the movie music. The sound and voices are quite good too. To be honest, I think that the original actors who did the voices actually did some specifically for the game. Its pretty good.

I really have to say this, the graphics are really nice. The scenery is beautiful and the animation is great. The bad thing about this though is that it's not real 3D. It is played in a 2D linear perspective that looks 3D, but it isn't. Sure, there are some levels which you go into the screen, but it isn't real 3D. But still the graphics are pretty good.

The game is easy to complete, but that's if you take the easy route. If you want to get 100% in each level, you will be playing this for a long time. Make sure you have a Controller Pak because you will want to save it.

If you were a fan of the movie, you will love this game, so I suggest you buy it.
