List Yo' Top 10, Bishes!

1. Tales of Symphonia
- Basically the only true RPG for the GCN.

2. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
- Showed me a new way to play games, as I was never a multiplayer guy before, and certainly knew nothing of "cooperative play."

3. The Legend of Zelda Collection (Who am I kidding, this should be #1)
- Duh.

4. The Legend of Zelda: WindWaker
- A-duh.

5. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
- Ok, so basically 2 true RPGs for the GCN. This is the best of the series, also!

6. Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Triple-duh!

7. Mariokart Doubledash
- This iteration gets shit-talked a lot, I thought it was manic fun.

8. Super Monkeyball
- "I got 5 minutes 'til I go to work." "Wanna get stoned and play Monkey Target?" "Oh hell yes."

9. Soul Caliber 2
- Probably my favorite fighting game besides Tekken (or Smash Bros.), and this one had <3Link<3!!!

10. Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix
- My only complaint is that it should have had more songs from Ninty's library as a whole. This is much easier than any other Dance Dance game but still crazy enough to "impress" people at drunken keggers.

If you ever played Double Dash with 2 GCNs connected, it was insanely fun. I never did get to play with the full 16-player 8-kart setup, but I can only imagine. (I also played this online via Warp Pipe.) I would really love if they pulled out the 2-player kart deal again for the next game. Having one player drive while the other handles the fighting was just too fun. Also, I loved the character-specific items!

So did I! Lots of innovation in the franchise with that title!

Was Double Dash that poorly received? Are there so many people out there with poor taste and a hatred for innovation in familiar franchises that we can never expect to see something like this again?

I agree that DDR: Mario Mix was very fun even though it was the easiest of the DDR's. It still turned out to be the best one. I think Mario had something to do with it and maybe partly because it quickly became a rare title.

I never played Lost Kingdoms 2 but have the first one. That was a surprise awesome game. I never thought I could like a card battle game so much.

I agree, the battling was clever and quick enough to be fun.

To be honest bro., yes! I do like Lost Kingdoms 2 better than 1 because new cards and harder challenges for me to beat and I do have the best strategy with me ever!

What are you talking about? It was break-dancing Bowser that made that game!

That Bowser sure is turning into Mr. Softee. How can a bad guy maintain his cred if he's break dancing???

I thought break dancing earned street cred... or was that 20 years ago?
