| I never had a PS2 but many of my friends did. One thing I did notice was many of them eventually had consoles that started to fail. Some of them found ways around this. One friend found that if he turned his console upside down it would read the game. Another friend did this as well but had to put some weight on top of the upside down PS2 before he could start gaming. This was a widespread epidemic apparently, much like the way we used to blow in NES cartridges or slightly move them left and right in the console before they would work. Any of you have a PS2 give you problems and did you find a way to get it to work? | |

| When my first one failed, i traded it in at the gamestore and got an xbox. i never had anymore fail becasue every time I bought one id sell it or give it away. | |

| I think from console to console, Sony has actually gotten better when it comes to hardware issues. Besides that big online related dump with the PS3 fat, There hasn't been too much trouble with the PS3's. | |

| Really? Your PS2 system not working anymore? Weird.......because my brother and I never had ours broken before so you must've have your system fall off your got knocked off my guess. | |

| You had one of the few well built PS2's Nintendo Furniture. Not quite as bad as the 360, but there were quite a few PS2's that had problems a few years down the road. | |
