Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Atari Lynx Atari-lynx
I had the chance to play this handheld a few times in the past. Ahead of it's time since it was a 16 bit handheld released around the time Nintendo released the GameBoy, which was 8 bit. First handheld to feature color too. It was ok, but really heavy and big for a portable. The screen was dwarfed by all the plastic surrounding it. Plus it was expensive.

I owned one. The only downfall for me was the lack of software. No point in releasing a system if you arent gonna put out games for it.

Roadblasters was a great game for the system though.

Oh crazy day. We usually see kids in grocery carts playing their DS Lites, but I give props to a Dad at Wal-Mart today. He was wearing a Turtles t-shirt, Iron Man hat, and his kid was sitting in the cart, not playing a DS, but an Atari Lynx. I should've said something. That right there is a fellow gamer teaching his kid what games used to be like!

I can honestly say I've liked nothing Atari gave us, save publishing Ikaruga.
