Will mobile phone gaming kill off systems like the 3DS?
I doubt it, there will always be dedicated portables.

Yes, the 3DS will be the last portable system from Nintendo.

Never, mobile gaming is just a fad and will die off soon.

Probably, unless Nintendo drops their prices.

I believe the Atari 2600 was the most popular of the Atari's, but I started console gaming on the 7800. Correct me if I'm wrong but it might have been the first console with backward compatibility, being able to play all 7800 and 2600 titles. There was also the 5900 but I never played any games on it. I had to buy another one and I love going back to play games like Tower Toppler, Karateka, Desert Falcon, Centipede, Joust, Food Fighter, Ms. Pac Man, Mario Bros, and Ball Blazer. Some 2600 titles I had were Solaris, Kangaroo, Jr. Pac Man, Moon Patrol, Jungle Hunt, Commando, and Keystone Capers. We had about 40 titles in all. I'm feeling nostalgia overload just writing this! In the end though the games are too short and don't hold your attention for too long. But I guess that's how it was back in the day.

Rather stretch my testicles taught and use it like a bow than play an Atari console. Ugh. >:3

Even as a kid, I knew Atari was a POS. Never liked the Lynx, it had, what Tempest 2000 and AvsP? It looked cool enough, but...

Awkward in my hands, didn't care for the buttons. Just an Atari-hater from birth. Very Happy

The 7800 was very awesome for me...for about a year. The year I got a 7800 all my friends got Nintendos. Needless to say I made sure the next Christmas I had an NES on my wish list. I was surprised that Atari continued to make and sell these consoles even when the Super Nintendo was out.

I'm surprised anyone gives the Atari (any model really) any credit for anything other than sucking balls. I'm sorry not one game on any of these systems worth a shit. any of them you did wanna play, odds are they had an arcade. None of these hold up well today, none of them.

Hey, go easy on Atari. Yeah, they sucked, but not as bad as everyone thinks. I think it's more a testament to Nintendo's (and especially Shigeru Miyamoto's) genius that Atari was just crap by comparison. (Well, okay, Atari did almost single-handedly tank the video game industry.)
