Pokemon Black and White

So what is everyone's opinion on the newly announced fifth generation of Pokemon? Rumor has it that it is for the DS (not the 3DS) but I am still hoping this rumor is false. Recent screen shots also introduce two brand new Pokemon (Zorua and Zoroark) as well as provide glimpses into what the game will look like. The new games appear to use a lot more 3D than any previous Pokemon handheld title. Also, one screen shot suggests that the traditional visual style of Pokemon battles may get a major facelift. I for one am very excited to see what is going to be announced next.

It's a must buy if it's one of the first 3D games at launch for the 3DS. The interwebs seem to be split on whether it will be 3D or not, but my vote is that yes it will be. Especially with the rumor announcement today that the 3DS is coming in October this year.

I know it's too soon. This would ruin US reputation.

I will admit that Nintendo has been going a little nuts with the new DS iterations, but if you take the DS lifespan as the DS phat to present it really is a good time for a new system. I am definitely ready to jump when they finally release the thing. Having limited funds, though, I can definitely feel the pain of you people who bought the DSi or the DSXL.
