| The grandaddy game of the gaming season is here: and it delivers.
The spectacular reviews this game is getting across the board are completely warranted. By far the berst halo game in terms of story / gameplay. The online is flawless and it takes the best parts of the last three and blends them into a masterpiece. I was worried as a fan because I am of the few who thought ODST (the last game) was terrible. Bungie hasnt lost the touch and is giving thier HALO the sendoff it deserves.

| The granddaddy game has already came and pwned. It's called Super Mario Galaxy 2. Just teasing. Glad to hear it brought back the franchise. Is this the last Halo? | |

| the last halo by Bungie. They are onto onther things and since MS owns the rights the next halo's are developed by 343 studios MS owned. | |

| I've only played Halo 2 and thought it was pretty good, but still a bit overhyped. | |

| one image says it all. The defining online experience (not talking gameplay at all, even if it is a great FPS) it literally sets the standard for console online experience, and you say overhyped. | |

| It did wonders for its robust online experience, but online for me has never been a main draw. When I buy a game I don't look for one that is a good online game. I look for one that will give me an experience like no other, online or not. I'd still put Metroid Prime over Halo 2 even if it doesn't have online. I remember when each of the Halo games came out there was so much pandemonium like it was going to be the game to end all games. That's what I mean by overhyped. Surprisingly, I didn't see too much craziness over HALO Reach, but I did see a guy at Walmart yesterday pushing a cart around with the big HALO Reach promo in it that was over the alarm post near the front of the store. Not saying Halo 2 was a bad game at all. I'd give it a 4/5. Since you've played both, which is better, Halo 2 or Halo Reach? | |

| Never been interested in Halo, never will be. Everyone at school obsessing over it doesn't help my dislike for the series either. I'm glad it's Bungie's last Halo game. Hopefully the next developer will suck at making it and Halo will be unpopular forever more. | |

| Without Halo, the sun can finally rise and the birds can sing again.
I wish HaloHomo would join our forums. He's a hoot with his emails for the podcasts.

| Ooo-kaaaay. I thought I was supposed to be the resident Microsoft hater/Nintendo megafan, but even I have some interest in Halo. (I had fun at some Halo 2 LAN parties, even if I got totally smoked.)
Heh, I'm a little surprised Microsoft doesn't have Rare work on the next Halo...

| Oh boy. And now with Halo 4 coming this year we have to deal with another fanboy freakout. Starting at E3 I'm sure. | |
