Halo 2

I can still remember my first time playing online with Halo 2. I started running, blasted a guy in the face point blank range and from then on got blasted time and time again and never scored another kill. Used the headset too.

Dont you wish you could talk online with the Wii games.

But I can talk online on the Wii. Animal Crossing, The Conduit and more soon to come.

I have never played Halo 2 yet still yet to I have heard it's better than Halo 3 so deffinetly a game I would like to play.

Kinda gutted now that they have switched the servers off on Halo 2 never actually got a chance to try it out, anyone else not get the chance to play before the switched the servers off?

I always hated that about online games. Nothing you can do about it really but online games are a collectors nightmare since a portion of the content is unplayable after sometime. Glad I had the opportunity to play it online before it got cut off. I was also sad when Sega cut off Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2. I wonder if online content that is no longer available lessens the value of a game 10 years down the road.

No, it does not. In fact, in some cases it makes things more $$$.

For instance, all the SatellaView downloadable games for the Super Famicom (including 2 Zelda games never released here in the States/EUR) are obviously no longer available to download, as the satellite broadcast in Japan has been dead since '96 I think. I have yet to see a cart with these games on it for sale, but you bet your ass it would fetch a pretty penny.

As for servers being shut down, yet another reason I don't online game often, mostly if its on a console. I got into Phantasy Star Online late, and played on a working server... twice? Bummer.

Man, I hate being up this early on a Saturday...
