Here it is! The 3DS in it's final design. Not much different from E3, just a different coloured slide pad and metallic stylus.

A telescoping stylus at that! The backlit buttons are confirmed too for all you in the dark players.

Another feature I saw was the ability to surf the web and bring up menus without jumping out of the game. Gonna have to get this at launch.

It sounds too good to be true. Launch for sure, I am thinking about a 4 day venture to NYC and sleeping in the streets/in line for a few days. Maybe I'll record some of it and do a special podcast lol.

*sigh* Oh god do I have to buy this coming in March 2011? Well maybe I can find a way to let Mom and Dad buy it for me if I can manage it to put it in the list of my birthday which this system won't be here yet but maybe just maybe I can remind them for this on March and hopingly I will get that 3DS in no time.

Actually, I'm in Ohio, so it's not that bad. I bet we could get Streex to do it. You know he's just been waiting for an excuse.

I forgot about the HOME button and being able to multi-task then jump straight back into the game. Kinda puts Players Choice guides out of business if you can pause and jump on the net to look up a walkthrough. Cool, backlit buttons were confirmed. I often play in the dark after going to bed, like I did last night. I need to get a job to pay for this damn thing, I don't even want to imagine what it will cost in Australia...

Players Guides have been losing out for awhile now even without this but you're right, this seals the deal. Unless you're me and you still buy them for collector reasons. Razz

Surely you have some sort of trick up your sleeve to make it work, Streex?

I'm playing the "10th wedding anniversary" card to woo my wife into going. Otherwise, I could never pull it off. I'm having to do this instead of a cruise to get her to agree. Plus we've always wanted to see Nintendo World. Also, I've never been to NYC.

Which would you pick? A cruise, or the 3DS launch at Nintendo World?

Some trick? I'm probably using that 'trick' to move back to Cali here pretty soon. I've never been to the Nintendo World Store so I really want to go. It's been a dream of mine. Last time I was in NYC it wasn't there yet (a long time ago). I'll have a better idea where I stand when 2011 arrives.

I was reading stuff saying it may be delayed. Also, Nintendo says they plan to make a profit on each 3DS, which may make a $200 price point impossible. Crying or Very sad

That would be sweet for the Ninfest Nation to be interviewed by Dark Gary. I don't think they'll like any plugs. They'll probably just cut that part of the video off. It'll have to be something wearing a Ninfest shirt to get the plug. Maybe get Alisons number for the single members.

No, it has to be a special one only for those brave souls who go all the way to New York to spread the good world of Ninfest. Or is that Ninfest the world?

Anyway, it has to have the site address on it! Maybe also a cool picture of Pit flying out of a 3DS or something...
