| This game is being rerereleased this time on the Wii in the near future, but we already have a version on the GameBoy Advance and DS. Which one do you get? The one truest to the original in the GameBoy Advance version or the one with the most added content and graphical upgrade in the Wii version? | |

| I only have the one for the DS, and it is a superbly crafted game. It takes the engine from the DS remake of Final Fantasy III, but does so much more with it including adding voices. The game itself is a joy to play and has a much better story than Final Fantasy III. After all, Final Fantasy IV actually made me care about my characters where Final Fantasy III did not. Even though I have yet to finish it (I became distracted with two other RPGs, namely Pokemon Diamond and Etrian Odyssey II) I highly recommend the game to anyone with a liking of turn based RPGs. | |

| I bought this game on the GBA, and then I was disappointed when they announced they were releasing it again for the DS because I would have just owned the DS version. So I went and bought the DS version as well. Now with the Wii version coming, I may be buying this game a third time around. Probably more for my wife than anything. She loves turn based RPG's and there aren't very many on the Wii. So whenever this decides to drop, it should make a good Christmas present for her. I'll be honest. I've played a lot of Final Fantasy games and I just can't get into them. It's not that I don't try either. The franchise has such a loyal fanbase and each game released gets a lot of press so I buy and play a lot of them. From the original titles to the spinoffs like tactics and crystal chronicles, I'm still looking for that 5 star experience. I won't give up though. I'm sure there's a Final Fantasy game out there that is going to knock my socks off. | |

| I just wanted to note that the WiiWare Final Fantsy IV: The After Years is a sequel, and not a remake.
And, furthermore, the graphics are enough to make or break your opinion. If you prefer sprites to cute 3d, go with gba. If you expect more immersive graphical effect, go with the DS iteration. | |
