Very nice issue. I heard the one at newsstands looks completely different, but still covered with NEStalgia goodness. I'm going to check it out in a few days.

While it's great to see Raccoon Mario grace another cover after all these years, it just doesn't compete with the silver colored cover with numerous NES sprite heroes. I quizzed myself to see how much I could get. I got them all right except the Urban Champions guy and the guy in purple next to Samus, which I still don't know. Is he from Crystalis?

I was pretty certain that guy was from Crystalis, but I don't remember seeing a Crystalis mini-article in the mag. (Was there a connection between the cover and the mini-articles?)

I certainly didn't recognize the Urban Champions one, either. Was Little Nemo on there?

LIttle Nemo was on there. That was one of the easy ones. That game is a classic. I need to add that to the collection. Many of them had mini features but I think there were a few that didn't. Contra I think was part of a Konami segment. I probably should just look.
